Where are you located?

Do you have restrooms in the facilities?

Do you offer weddings in the meadow?

Yes! Meadow weddings are available with a stunning view of Barrett Mountain. *Chairs & canopies/tents are not included for meadow weddings and would need to be rented for outdoor use. 

There are restrooms for guests, as well as a private restroom for the bride and the bridal party.  

Our venue is located at 171 NC-Hwy 127, Taylorsville, NC 28681. We are a quick 20-minute drive from Hickory and Lenior and 30 minutes from Statesville, NC.

Is the venue temperature controlled?

The venue as well as the suites are temperature controlled with the suites having an additional unit to keep our guests cool throughout the preparation process.

Do you offer elopement packages?

Yes! We would love to host your intimate wedding! 

Do you have a preferred vendor list?

*Coming Soon!* We currently do not have a preferred vendor list, but we can offer you some suggestions. All vendors working on property must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI).

What do I need to secure my event date?

You can secure a desired event date with a signed contract and a 50% deposit.

What is a normal timeline for a wedding day?

You get use of the facility from 9:00 AM to take care of preparations, make-up and pictures. All of the events must end by 10:00 PM and all guests and personal belongings removed by 11:00 PM. *Inquire about event time extension.

Do I have to bring in my own caterer?

Yes! You can bring in your own caterer, but make sure the caterer reaches out regarding set-up and lay-out. All vendors working on property must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI).

Do you have parking on-site?

Parking is on-site in our meadow. Guest can be dropped off at Silo circle in front of the white barn.

Do you offer rehearsal dinners?

We offer a 1-hour wedding rehearsal the week of your event.  You may opt to have your rehearsal dinner on-site as an add-on.  Please ask for more details.

Do you have on-site accommodations?

There is a 5-bedroom farmhouse that sleeps 14 and a rustic 2-bedroom cabin that sleeps 8.  The accommodations are offered via VRBO. Please inquire about renting out our whole property for your event! 

Are linens included with the event rental?

Basic white linens are provided for all tables we offer at the venue.  Spandex table covers are offered for cocktail tables in black or white.

Are there different pricing options for proms or reunions?

Yes! We would love to host your event of any-kind. Ellendale Events offers pricing for proms or reunions as well as bridal/baby showers or birthday parties. 

Are there any hidden fees?


There are no hidden fees.  Your price will have applicable taxes applied.  There is a $500 refundable deposit due 1-week from the event as well as an insurance fee.  A link will be provided for you to purchase that insurance waiver and it is based on the number of expected guests.

Is a Day of Coordinator required?

Yes, a coordinator is required to meet all vendors.  Your coordinator must be present for the initial walk-through, as well as run of show.

Can alcohol be served?

Non-fortified beer and wine may be served and not sold.  A certified bartender is required for spirited beverages, as well as a day of permit from

Do you offer a Military Discount?

We offer a 10% discount to any active-duty military.
